I figured that a decent thing to do was to have at least one page in english for my friends that don’t speak or read norwegian all that well. I’ll try from time to time to tell whats going on in the fantastic life of Fred Flintstone.

Monday 12th of June

Summer is here!. Finally. The weatherman says its getting closer to 30 degrees, and just have to say “can you dig it? Yes I can” The only problem is me being stuck in my shop in Hegdehaugsveien. It is bleeming hot in here, and the only thing keeping me alive is a iced coffee. With temperatures closer to 32 degrees celcius that being almost 90F, I’d say I have one of the “hottest” jobs around.

Our union with the Danish dude and the Swedish dudette, is now almost over. No problems have occurred, and we are heading to Bodø this week, leaving them all alone.

Anyhow the World Cup in Germany has started, without the Norwegian National Team, so we’ll root for the Swedes this year. It’ll be a summer filled with BBQ’s in the park, soccer, and fun-fun-fun.

I hereby declare tha summer as opened.

Tuesday 30th of May

Me and Marit have just invited one dude, and one dudette to live with us for the next two weeks. Ida and Antony from Sweden and Denmark moved in on what you could call provisional basis yesterday. The are gonna live with us until their palace of pleasure vil be ready for them to move in. This will be approx 15th of June. They are nice people and it’ll be nice having dinner with more than just me and Marit. Both of them are bartenders so our rythm will be quite different from ours.

Saturday 5th of May

Finally internet at home again. Our ISP finalliy moved our account and we are back on track. We are now living in our brand new appartment in Maridalsveien. Brilliant I say! We are still missing alot in our new appartment, but thigs are looking better for each day. We still need a working wardrobe and something to decorate our white walls. We got no carpets, and so on, and so on.

Summer is arriving these days and BBQ in one of Oslo’s many parks will be a major priority after workdays. For summerholiday this year we’ll mostly stick to Oslo, with a few trips to Bodø and Tromsø. Most of our holiday will be around the end of August and beginning of September, when our wedding is set in Bodø. So the 2nd of September we will be Husband and Wife. Get that!. Strange. No big escapades during the summer that is.

Monday 13th of March

Alllllrighty. New week, new disappointments. Lets get ready to rumble!

Well, not all that bad, but the latest update is that we will recieve the keys for our new appartment 28th of March and from there on life will look better. Currently we are inhabiting 34squaremeter and are sooo looking forward for something bigger. I’ve labeled all the posts concerning our new dorm with “221″, making them easy to access, tho they still are written in norwegian. Pictures and videos are however self-explanatory I guess.
